
Sean Bougie is an Indigenous (Montreal Lake Cree Nation) classical guitarist from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan who has been playing for over 20 years.
This long history with the instrument has allowed Sean to curate an interesting collection of classical guitar repertoire to perform at various festivals, private events, and community gatherings around Western Canada. Sean's performances make jaws drop, hearts flutter, and minds wander. His music inspires a sense of nostalgia and captivates the listener's soul. Sit back and relax to the soothing sounds of the classical guitar.
Sean has played multiple events and festivals around Western Canada including the Saskatoon Fringe Festival, the Haywire Farm Festival, and the Sasktel Saskatchewan Jazz Festival. Sean was nominated twice for the Saskatchewan Indigenous Music Association Awards nominated and once for the Saskatchewan Music Awards. In 2025, he was awarded both Best Instrumental or Ambient Artist for the Saskatchewan Music Awards and Instrumentalist of the Year for the Saskatchewan Indigenous Music Association Awards.
