The concept of the band is the creation and improvisation of jazz fused with modern music themes. A true power trio.

Jazz is an ever evolving music form of music based on creativity and improvisation. The Joel Grundahl Trio (Joel Grundahl, Kyle Krysa and Lloyd Tomczak) embrace these ideas and carry that torch forward.

The trio has preformed many shows including the Sask Jazz Festival, The Bassment and several other venues. The most recent album “Off The Click” is available on Apple Music and Spotify. They’ve also recorded a live performance for Max TV in 2019. Between the three players there’s over one hundred and thirty years of musical experience and it shows in their compositions and performances.

This show is part of our pre-festival programming at the Brighton Wetlands Amphitheatre in Saskatoon and Kiswehap Park in Regina.
