SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 21 AT 7:30PM CST

Recorded December 13, 2020 at the Broadway Theatre in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

Regina’s celebrated and award winning Jack Semple is joined by Saskatoon’s powerhouse vocalist Heidi Munro to bring his ‘modern blues’ to the Virtual Connection Series for an unforgettable performance that highlights music from Semple’s 10th studio album “Can’t Stop This Love”.

Jack Semple started his musical career playing with various Regina-based bands, and later relocated to Toronto in the late 1980s to become the lead guitarist of The Lincolns, a popular funk and rhythm and blues band. Semple has been twice nominated, in 1999 and 2000, for a Gemini Award for his soundtrack work on the television series Incredible Story Studio, won a Juno award in 1991 for best roots recording, and has two Western Canadian music awards for “Qu’Appelle” and “In the Blue Light”.
