Q: HOW DOES THE ESCAPE GARDENS PASS WORK?
A: Escape Gardens Pass guarantees entrance to each of the ticketed shows at the TD Mainstage, Bessborough Gardens. The Escape Gardens Pass is not required to attend free shows.
Q: WHERE DO I PICK UP TICKETS THAT I HAVE PURCHASED ONLINE OR BY PHONE?
A: Pre-purchased tickets are available for pick-up during regular hours only at the Broadway Theatre (Please check hours). Tickets will not be sent to the venue. If a purchaser goes to the gate and they do not have their ticket or confirmation form they must show a minimum of one piece of photo ID. The gate box office staff can electronically check them in.
Q: CAN I HAVE SOMEONE ELSE PICK UP MY TICKETS FOR ME?
A: Yes! If the person purchasing tickets has notified the box office of the person’s name that will be picking them up. Appropriate ID will be required at time of ticket pick up.
Q: CAN I GET TICKETS I PURCHASED ONLINE AT THE GATE?
A: No, sorry. Tickets will not be sent to the venue. If a purchaser goes to the gate and they do not have their ticket or confirmation form they must show a minimum of one piece of photo ID. The gate box office staff can electronically check them in.
Q: DO CHILDREN REQUIRE TICKETS?
A: No. Children 6 and under (proof of age required) are admitted free with an adult ticket holder to a maximum of two children per adult. Children to not require a ticket. Adult requires a ticket.
Q: DO YOU OFFER YOUTH PRICING?
A: Yes! Youths aged 7 to 12 years are eligible to receive 50% off the advance and regular prices of a TD Mainstage ticket. The discount does not apply agency fees or taxes will apply.
Q: CAN I EXCHANGE TICKETS OR GET A REFUND?
A: No, sorry. We do not exchange tickets or provide refunds.
Q: WHAT IF I WANT TO PURCHASE TICKETS AND GIVE THEM TO FRIENDS?
A: Because tickets are in the name of the purchaser, it is best to inform the box office so they can make a change to the ticket holder in the event tickets are damaged, lost, stolen, or the ticket holder arrives without the ticket.
Q: I HAVE LOST/NOT RECEIVED MY TICKETS, WHAT DO I DO?
A: Please call the Broadway Theatre at 306.652.6556 to verify that we have received your order. Please have your order confirmation. Box Office Hours: 12:30pm-5pm, Monday-Thursday.
Q: WHEN WILL THE FREE PROGRAM BE ANNOUNCED?
A: The free program will be announced in late Spring.

Q: CAN I TAKE PICTURES OR VIDEO OF CONCERTS?
A: Kinda. Camera and recording devices with detachable lenses are not permitted. Unaccredited photographers using cameras with detachable lenses will be asked to not use their equipment by either a representative or security personnel. Cell phone cameras with recording functions or point and shoot style cameras are permitted unless otherwise instructed.
Q: WHAT HAPPENS IF IT’S RAINING?
A: Shows run rain or shine. In the unlikely event of extreme weather, shows may be cancelled or rescheduled. Announcements and updates are made through our social media channels. Follow us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram to stay up to date.
Q: WHERE CAN I GET A SCHEDULE/PROGRAM?
A: A digital program which will be released along in early June. Check www.saskjazz.com to get yours.
Q: IS THERE A LOST AND FOUND?
A: Yes! All items that have been found at Festival venues will be turned in to the Volunteer Centre located on the Conventional Level of the Bessborough Hotel during the Festival. After the Festival, found items can be claimed at the Saskatchewan Jazz Festival office located on the 4th floor of the MacMillan Building, 135-21st Street East. After August 17th, contact the Festival at 306.653.8350 for inquiries and pick up arrangements.
Q: IS SMOKING PERMITTED AT THE TD MAINSTAGE, BESSBOROUGH GARDENS?
A: No. The TD Mainstage is a smoke/vape free venue. Those wanting to smoke must leave the venue. You will be able to re-enter with valid wristband.
Q: CAN I BRING MY DOG TO THE TD MAINSTAGE, BESSBOROUGH GARDENS?
A: No. Dogs are not permitted at the TD Mainstage, Bessborough Gardens.
Q: WHAT SHOULD I BRING TO SHOWS AT THE TD MAINSTAGE, BESSBOROUGH GARDENS?
A: Folding chair, sunscreen, cell phone, cash/debit/credit cards, bug spray (depending on weather), rain coats/rainboots (do not bring umbrellas or items that can obstruct sightlines), point and shoot cameras, and be ready for a great time with like-minded festival attendees.
Q: WHAT TIME DO DOORS OPEN FOR THE TD MAINSTAGE, BESSBOROUGH GARDENS?
A: Doors open an hour prior to all shows. For example, if the time listed is 7pm the doors open at 6pm.
Q: IS THERE SEATING AVAILABLE AT THE TD MAINSTAGE OR DTN YXE SHOWS?
A: Kinda. Attendees to TD Mainstage, Bessborough Gardens bring their own seating. While there is limited seating provided at the DTN YXE shows, we encourage attendees to bring their own.
Q: IS THE FESTIVAL WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE?
A: Yes! Festival venues are wheelchair accessible.
Q: WHERE ARE WASHROOMS LOCATED?
A: Public washrooms, which are wheelchair accessible, are set up on the north and south side of the TD Mainstage, Bessborough Gardens.
Q: ARE ATM’S AVAILABLE?
A: Yes! There are in the Bessborough Hotel Lobby and Sheraton Cavalier Hotel. We also offer debit and credit options at the point of purchase.
Q: WHERE IS THERE AVAILABLE PARKING AND HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
A: Public paid parking is available until 6pm. After 6pm, all public parking is free. There are a number of Impark Lots downtown that can be viewed here. As parking spaces are limited, we recommend carpooling, biking, taxis, ridesharing, or using public transport.
Q: ARE THERE DISCOUNTS AVAILABLE ON HOTEL ROOMS?
A: Yes! The Bessborough Hotel and Sheraton Cavalier offer special room rates for ticket buyers. Learn more here.
Q: CAN I BRING IN MY OWN FOOD AND BEVERAGES?
A: No, sorry! But the good news is the Bessborough Hotel provides a wide variety of food and beverages.
Q: AM I REQUIRED TO WEAR A MASK AT THE TD MAINSTAGE, BESSBOROUGH GARDENS?
A: At this time the festival will not require attendees to wear masks however that may change. Please follow the festival social media platforms and check for updates on the festival website saskjazz.com the day prior and the day of the show.
Q: AM I REQUIRED TO SOCIAL DISTANCE AT THE TD MAINSTAGE, BESSBOROUGH GARDENS?
A: At this time the festival will not require attendees to social distance however that may change. Please follow the festival social media platforms and check for updates on the festival website saskjazz.com the day prior and the day of the show.
Q: WHAT SAFETY PRECAUTIONS IS THE FESTIVAL TAKING AT THE TD MAINSTAGE, BESSBOROUGH GARDENS?
A: Hand sanitizers, refillable water stations, tap (credit/debit) and reduced capacity will all be implemented and available. Cleaners will be on site to wipe down high traffic areas and clean washrooms after use.
