New for 2023
We’re moving and we’re changing, and we’re pretty excited about it too!
The SaskTel Saskatchewan Jazz Festival has some exciting changes for 2023, including a new location and festival format to bring you a heightened festival experience.
New location
We are moving our main festival site to Victoria Park in Riversdale (view on map), right along the banks of the beautiful South Saskatchewan River.
The 2023 festival will run from June 30 – July 9, and all 10 days will feature music and attractions in Victoria Park. This year, we’re bringing back some familiar favourites like yoga, beer gardens, and food trucks, but we’re also expanding to include some new offerings too, like a local artisan market, art show and classes, a Family Fun Zone, and more. And if you’re wondering about getting to Victoria Park, this year we are offering a new service — a free shuttle! — which will provide free transportation to and from Victoria Park to key locations in the city. More information will be announced about the shuttle in spring 2023.
We are also excited to bring patrons additional music programming at various locations throughout the Downtown, Riversdale and Broadway areas of the city, all of which will be announced in spring 2023.
New format
In addition to the new festival location, the 2023 SaskTel Saskatchewan Jazz Festival will feature 6 days of completely free programming (June 30 – July 5) followed by 4 days of ticketed programming (July 6 – 9) at Victoria Park.
The four days of ticketed programming will be done on a day pass system. Patrons will be able to purchase 1, 2, 3, or 4 day passes that offer full access to all festival programming on their chosen days. Each of the four ticketed days will feature up to five artists per day. Think of it as one day, one pass, five shows — ultimately we’re bringing you more music at a more accessible price.

Important dates
The ticketed lineup will be announced on March 24 and day passes go on sale March 27.
The free program lineup will be announced on April 21.
