The Della Kit
Vocalist, Composer, Songwriter, DJ & Producer, the della kit was born into a lineage of Jewish and Italian Jazz musicians in Boston MA. Her parents met at Berklee College of Music and then moved to a small town in B.C. Canada where della was raised, and by the age of 16 she was scatting and freestyling over dance music in night clubs & music festivals.
Since then she has toured all over the world supporting legends such as; Mos Def, Bilal, and ?uest Love. Her most recent album moonbeams + frequencies led her to signing with Art Haus, alongside Talk, Serena Ryder & Adria Kain. A lush collection of songs that bring together a multitude of genres in a stunning and visionary way, produced by della and AstroLogical – moonbeams + frequencies is a sonic journey that engulfs the listener in a neo-soul, jazz-inspired, funk wonderland.
Laced with evocative stories of healing and self-love it has been streamed over 300k times across 146 countries & featured on numerous Spotify’s & Apple Music Playlists. In 2022 the della kit gained press support from CBC, Much Music & Range Magazine while performing at: Juno Fest, Toronto Jazz & Winnipeg Pride alongside Dylan Sinclair, The Hallucination & Maurice Brown Of the Free Nationals.
