The Boyers
The Boyers Father/ Son and friend from Saskatoon have been playing the Métis music for more than three decades. Dallas Boyer has been playing the fiddle since age of six and has played the music of the Métis throughout Canada and into the USA. Phil Boyer, Dallas’s dad, plays the acoustic guitar and Barry Day plays the Bass. They play a high energetic fiddle to have the crowd dance and enjoy. They also play for Métis square dancers and please crowds wherever they can do so.
This event is part of the Neighbourhood Pop-Up Series, which is free to attend. The Neighbourhood Pop-Up Series is made possible by a number of local partnerships, including each hosting venue, the Broadway Business Improvement District, the Riversdale Business Improvement District, Downtown Saskatoon, the Community of Brighton, the Dream Community Foundation, The Prairie Lily, and Hopewell Property Management.
