Joanna Duda
Joanna Duda – pianist, composer, improviser. The music she creates is an experimental music with elements of jazz, and contemporary classical. The artist’s main projects are solo (KEEN Alpaka rec. 2019) and Joanna Duda Trio (FUMITSUKE 2020 Echo Productions). Both are characterized by combining electronic and acoustic sounds in an osmotic and organic way. What is unique in the artist’s music is looking for the sound aesthetics where it seems to be lacking. In 2017 Joanna established her Joanna Duda Trio, which in recent years has played in such prestigious venues as Ronnie Scott’s in London, Le Periscope in Lyon, Opus Jazz Club in Budapest and jazz festivals in Vancouver, Edmonton, Bremen and Helsinki.
Together with Morris Kliphuis (NL) Joanna Duda co-creates the project Wake The Dead, which juxtaposes electronic music and improvisation with the sound of a baroque ensemble. The premiere of the project took place on October 14th in Bimhuis. One of the project partner is Department of Historical Instruments of the Royal Conservatory of The Hague.
Joanna Duda composed the music for the Erotica 2022 series, a film for the Netflix platform with the participation of directors: Kasia Adamik, Olga Chajdas, Jagoda Szelc, Anna Jadowska, Anna Kazejak. The artist composed the music for the film Cudak directed by Anna Kazejak and Już dłużej tak nie mogę dir. Joseph Ouarrack. She is also a music producer (Biały Czarny Hipis feat. Brydal).
The artist has released an album of contemporary music. The album UNCHAINED with compositions by Julius Eastman, in which she took part, was awarded by Pizzicato magazine and nominated for the International Classical Music Awards. Joanna also collaborated with Krzysztof Knittel and Marek Chołoniewski during the Ad Libitum Festival (2019). In the years 2008 – 2022, the artist co-founded the Wojtek Mazolewski Quintet as a pianist and composer, with whom she recorded 8 albums. The album CHAOS FULL OF IDEAS went gold and the album POLKA – platinum.
In addition to concerts in the most important European metropolises such as Berlin, London, Vienna, Porto, Rome, Bucharest, Oslo, Tallinn, The Hague, Vilnius and Amsterdam, she has performed many times in Asia (including Tokyo, Beijing, Shanghai, Delhi) and North America ( Vancouver, Hamilton, Edmonton) as well as in less obvious destinations (Greenland – Nuuk, Sisimiut, Norway – Lofoten, Kaliningrad, Vladivostok).

Joanna Duda co-creates the audiovisual show SKIN together with Katarzyna Pastuszak (Amareya Theatre) She composed music for many theater performances, including Nomadic Woman, Kantor_Tropy: Collage (Theater Amareya); Balladyna (dir. K. Garbaczewski).
Ksawery Wójciński
Ksawery Wojciński b. in 1983 in Konin. Double bassist, composer, vocalist.
He is a graduate of the Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz.
For over a decade, he has been one of the most important artists of the young generation.
He is a recognizable figure on the improvised music scene. He moves perfectly in many musical worlds, collaborating with the most outstanding musicians of the improvised scene from around the world. Due to his classical education, he also reaches for early music. Wójciński can be heard on over thirty albums both as a leader and as a sideman. The most important are albums recorded with the band Hera , Charles Gayle Trio ( Christ Everlasting ), Szpilman with Uri Cain or the solo album The Soul as well as Delusions and With all due respectrecorded with brothers Szymon (piano), Maurycy (trumpet) and drummer Krzysztof Szmańda. More and more often in his work he reaches for his voice, which has become a great complement to the sound of the double bass.
He has performed in such countries as: Germany, USA, Canada, England, Spain, Ukraine, Belarus, Denmark, Holland, Norway, Hungary, Austria, Serbia.
He collaborates with many outstanding artists, such as: Charles Gayle , Hamid Drake , Uri Caine , Nicole Mitchell , Satoko Fuji , Alan Bern , Franz Hautzinger , Amir ElSaffar .
