Garret T. Willie
Big Willie G ( (‘Namgis/Kwakwaka’wakw) is a 21 year old Blues, Rock and Country Folk Musician Artist from Alert Bay on Vancouver Island who currently resides in Campbell River B.C.
At the early age of 9 Big Willie got his first guitar and by age 17 he was almost lethal with hands needing to be registered as deadly weapons. His inspirations go from Ice Cube to Stevie Ray Vaughan. Growing up in the ruff and tuff town of Alert Bay off north Vancouver Island left him with an unquenchable thirst to set the world on fire with his own brand of Blues, Rock and “Hybrid Bluetry.”
Big Willie G shocks crowds with a voice never heard before that sounds like gravel over honey as well as soft and sweet. Coupled with guitar playing and a performance that is out of this world. His music will bring you to your feet to cheer
