FunkJoint is a dynamic group that draws from collective decades of musical experience teaching and playing in diverse groups spanning genres from jazz to metal and everywhere in between. Their growing body of original music interweaves that range to unique effect as can be heard on their 2 EP Releases to date. Groovy and catchy, FunkJoint delivers engaging, mirthful performances (at a reasonable volume) highlighted by unexpected soulful covers like Stevie Wonder, Jamiroquai, Bill Withers. Major influences include: Lettuce, Budos Band, SoulJazz Orchestra, Cory Wong, The Meters, Steely Dan, Corduroy and Snarky Puppy.
