The Chop Shop is a collection of individually active musicians in Regina, Saskatchewan performing a variety of jazz fusions. Featuring Bassist Graham Purse, Guitarist Bryn Besse and Drummer Brent Jefferson.
Carter Powley is an active freelance saxophonist, clarinetist, flautist, composer/arranger, and educator, holding degrees in music composition and education from the University of Regina. He has shared the stage with artists such as Canadian jazz icon P.J. Perry, Jack Semple, Peter Dyksman, Bob Moyer, Wayne Bergeron, Michael Kaeshammer, Kevin Mohagany, Karen Plato, Jason Marsalis, Ranee Lee, singer/songwriter and Juno nominee Alysha Brilla, and ‘Tower of Power’ drummer Herman Matthews.
