Celebrating 30 years of #saskjazz

June 24 - July 3

From well-known hotspots like the Bessborough Gardens and the Bassment, to smaller gems like the Freehouse and Amigo’s and unconventional spots like the corner of 21st and Spadina, the festival has become a citywide event. As Kathryn Ellis, a longstanding volunteer and festival founder says, “It just takes on a magical feeling, the city does,” adding, “you see whole families from grandparents right down to grandkids out together, generations up dancing together.” So whether you’re grooving in the gardens or bouncing from the Broadway Theatre to Bud’s, one thing you can count on is world-class entertainment for all to enjoy. Take a stroll down memory lane on this tour of venues past and present.
