The Jazz Festival Outreach Program is our way of taking the Festival to those, who for various reasons are unable to attend Festival events.

During the Festival, touring and provincial musicians make special visits to five special care homes in Saskatoon to entertain the residents and family members, and staff.

Residents are engaged in the performances by introducing and thanking the artists. Many sing, dance, clap their hands and tap their feet to the music. Recreational Directors provide marketing support and awareness.

The Jazz Festival Outreach Program is one of the crowning jewels of the SaskTel Saskatchewan Jazz Festival. We would like to extend our sincerest thanks and appreciation to staff, residents, family members, and artists who participate in the program.
